When I was little, I was only ever happy when I was drawing. I learned very quickly in life that I loved creativity, now I paint, draw, sculpt, write, and do pretty much anything I can to craft. I am happy to say I am still much like that child who loved to draw.
My medium, like my mind, is constantly changing. Sometimes I paint, sometimes I sculpt, I'm really not married to any one medium. What I love in particular is paint, pencil, oils, and clay. To create at all is an accomplishment so I encourage exploration.
Inspiration strikes at random, but I find myself inspired renewably by the human and animal forms. Shape, color, and contrast stand out to me, and so I also appreciate these themes in nature as well as use them in my artwork. Shape and color are the foundations of my art, and the other elements are just like icing on a cake.
